  • With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, developing a range of skills to work with elite performers, busy professionals, and individuals on their journey to recovery. Holding a Master’s degree in health psychology as well as multiple certifications in strength and conditioning and nutrition, I have a well-rounded understanding of human performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

Having worked with professional athletes, there is always the initiative for progress and intensity to push limits. Working with a range of professionals gives the drive to prioritise health and longevity.

Now, with a unique personal perspective on recovery and rehabilitation, this focuses on helping others regain strength, mobility, and confidence, whether they’re athletes striving for peak performance or individuals overcoming setbacks. My passion for fitness is fuelled by firsthand experience and evidence based learning.

  • ‘Honest, hard and progressive’ is how it’s been described. Safety and longevity are always at the forefront of my planning, whilst making sure the training week ticks the boxes of progress. Predominately weight based movements, but with a complete focus on skill and intensity.

  • Having several data points is a much better reflection of progress when it comes to physiology. Life throws curveballs, therefore tracking progress from a range of viewpoints is essential. Whether that is bodyweight, work done in the studio, energy levels throughout the day or even less pain. Tracking the information can help us solve the problems that are thrown in.

  • I am an avid, yet still awful, chess player. Watching elite level competition and sport is always on the agenda, but amongst everything else being curious. Learning and understanding the world through different prisms and perspectives whilst often being distracted by dogs.

  • We get to change people’s lives acutely, directly and at times incredibly quickly. Huge parts of the industry are desperate to raise the standards and overcome the ever growing issue we have of lifestyle related chronic disease. Being around people who are focused on solving the problem is a real privilege.

TESTIMONIALS

  • I'm no stranger to training, having been on/off in the past and worked with PTs before. So I can say with confidence that Harvey really knows his stuff. We've been training together for several weeks, and after a long spell out of practice, I'm astonished by how quickly we've progressed and our sessions have become a highlight of my week. This is in no small part down to Harvey's expertise - he explains everything clearly, adjusts the routine to suit you, and actually listens - like with my pre-existing injury, which we've not just worked around but I think actively improved.  But also because he's just a lot of fun to work with. Highly recommend! - Alex R

  • I recommend Harvey very highly. He has a deep technical knowledge and a knack for explaining things clearly and practically. I appreciate how seriously he takes our sessions and how invested he is in my progress. For me he strikes exactly the right balance between making the sessions fun and challenging. Thanks to Harvey I’m absolutely on the right track to achieving my fitness goals.
